This Privacy Policy explains how A Prompts handles information when you use the app.
Information We Process
- Prompt information you submit, including your idea, audience, tone, requested format, and constraints.
- An anonymous Firebase user identifier used to protect the service, apply usage limits, and associate subscription access.
- Daily usage counts and limited technical information needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- Apple subscription transaction identifiers and entitlement status used to verify Pro access.
How Information Is Used
Prompt information is sent securely through Firebase Cloud Functions to the selected AI provider, OpenAI or Anthropic, solely to generate the requested prompt. We also use limited information to verify subscriptions, enforce daily limits, operate the app, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems.
Information Stored on Your Device
Saved prompts, favorites, onboarding status, theme preference, and limited subscription cache information are stored locally on your device. Removing the app may remove this local data.
Purchases
Purchases and payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. A Prompts does not receive or store your full payment-card information. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to its services.
Service Providers
A Prompts uses service providers including Apple, Google Firebase, OpenAI, and Anthropic. These providers process limited information as needed to deliver their services and are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Sharing and Selling
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers when necessary to operate A Prompts, fulfill your request, maintain security, or comply with law.
Data Retention and Your Choices
Server-side usage and subscription records are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, enforce limits, maintain subscription access, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may request information or deletion assistance by contacting us.
Children’s Privacy
A Prompts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including protected backend services and app-verification controls. No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when revisions are published.
